ABOUT CAPITAL BLEND
Capital Blend (CB) is a professional n upper voices a cappella group in
the D.C. area with a mission of spreading empowerment through song. The group started in 2008 when a few co-workers realized they shared a love of singing, and since then, it has grown to include members from all walks of life united by our love for a cappella! We perform a wide range of music including Pop, Rock, R&B, Country, Oldies, and Holiday, end especially love girl-power anthems.

RECOGNITION
Capital Blend won a Contemporary a Cappella Recording Award (CARA) "Best Song" for Because by the Beatles, and was Runner Up for "Best Album" for our EP First Cup.
We have been featured in articles by NPR, the Washington Post, NBC News, BuzzFeed.News, Billboard, and OZY for the performance of MILCK's "Quiet", alongside the artist herself and the GW Sirens, during the National Women's March in 2016. Capital Blend later appeared on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee for a live performance of the song.
Additionally, Capital Blend has been invited to audition for the Sing Off, performed at the 100 year anniversary of the Girl Scouts of America, performed the national anthem for professional sporting leagues, and performed at an international vocal festival in Toronto.
