Kelly Biggs
Hometown: Manchester, VT
Voice Part: Soprano
Musical Experience: Starting with musical theater in middle school, Kelly’s love of singing eventually introduced her to the world of a cappella — and the rest is history. Kelly joined Deerfield Academy’s Rhapso-D’s in high school, where they performed at Disneyworld her junior year. In college, Kelly joined Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ all-female a cappella group Three Miles Lost, who performed for the college community and across New England. Now, finally settled in DC, Kelly is excited to join the ranks of Capital Blend to get her a cappella on.
On Her iPod: Hootie & The Blowfish, Adele, Florence + The Machine, Ray LaMontagne, Sara Bareilles, and Glee versions of practically everything.
Other Interests: Ice hockey (go Devils!), any gluten-free baked good, traveling (Kelly lived in Vietnam for four months in college,) and dill pickle-flavored chips.
Fun Fact: Kelly has an uncanny ability to predict primetime television show plots. And, she’s been bungee-jumping twice.
