Voice Part: Soprano 2, Alto, Bass
Musical Experience: Cristina always loved singing, and did many a rendition of “A Whole New World” in the bathroom mirror as a kid. She went on to sing in her high school’s choir, and in its all-female cappella group. In college, Cristina sang with the Chamber Singers of Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges, and with Haverford’s original all-female a cappella group, the Oxford Blues. She also took piano lessons for much of her childhood/adolescence, but never got very good.
On Her iPod: Ben Folds (Five), U2, The Killers, Coldplay, K. T. Tunstall, The Beatles, NPR Podcasts, hits of the 80s, Mozart, Cuban music, plenty of good workout tunes… and the list could go on and on.
Other Interests: Cristina loves reading, traveling, and taking photographs. She also enjoys learning new languages (she's working on Italian), going to the gym, and teaching dog agility tricks to her border collie. Cristina is hoping to one day become a good cook!
Fun Fact: One of Cristina's ambitions in life is to visit all seven continents—and if you count the 18 hours she spent in Morocco, she has been to four so far. Some day, Cristina hopes to travel enough so that she has to get extra pages added to her passport!
