Caity Stuhan
Position: Assistant Musical Director
Hometown: Shaker Heights, OH
Voice Part: Alto II to Mezzo
Musical Experience: Caity sang with the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus and had the pleasure of being conducted by such virtuosos as Christoph von Dohnanyi and Franz Welser-Most. In high school, Caity was part of the Hathaway Brown School Bravuras, an all-female a cappella group ranked 8th in the nation by the International High School A Cappella Association. In college, Caity was the music director of the Johns Hopkins University Vocal Chords, a co-ed a cappella group that recently opened for and performed onstage with Grammy Award-winning artist Imogen Heap at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC. She has played the guitar since age 10, and her father thinks she should be a professional wedding singer.

Other Interests: Shoes, fuzzy animals (including her 15-year-old beagle Argus and 2-year-old Bombay cat Joker), shoes, baseball, Christmas, shoes, and public health policy—she will be pursuing her master’s in public health at Harvard in 2012. And shoes.
Fun Fact: Caity captained the fastpitch softball team at Johns Hopkins, and also played 4 years of varsity basketball and soccer in high school. She was the defensive MVP of the Ohio State Championship Hathaway Brown Blazers soccer team in 2004.
